Power Maxed Racing have today announced the first of their new partnerships, in anticipation of the 2018 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Season, with Reflex Auto Design (RAD), Daventry-based premium paint and bodywork specialists.
Reflex’s purpose-built workshop regularly plays host to Lamborghinis, Rolls Royces and highly modified, European show-winning Audis & Volkswagens, always perfectly finished. Working closely with companies worldwide such as Japanese Porsche tuners RWB and internationally renowned Liberty Walk, their attention to detail is second to none.
Reflex will be providing Power Maxed Racing with support during 2018 and beyond, repairing and painting any panels damaged during the rough and tumble action of the thirty BTCC races taking place across the year. They will also be ensuring the NTGC (Next Generation Touring Car) Vauxhall Astras and newly completed Chassis No.3 are finished to the high standards demanded by the Manufacturer-supported Vauxhall BTCC team.
“PMR’s partnership with a company as well respected as Reflex, coupled with our use of Power Maxed cleaning products means we have total peace of mind that the cars will always look their absolute best, which is incredibly important for us. As a relatively young team that’s come so far in such a short time, it’s paramount for us that our cars reflect the team’s professional attitude and image at all times. Not looking right isn’t an option, which is exactly why we chose Reflex.” Martin Broadhurst, PMR Team Manager.
Warwickshire-based Power Maxed Racing (PMR) is a professional motor racing team currently competing in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) with the Vauxhall Astras designed and built by the 10-man team at PMR.
In the Astras’ debut season, PMR achieved several podium finishes and secured the coveted Jack Sears Trophy with five races of the Championship still to run.
PMR is headed up by Team Principal, Adam Weaver and highly respected BTCC engineer, Martin Broadhurst. Weaver also owns sister company Automotive Brands, whose product portfolio includes well respected aftermarket brands Power Maxed and Steel Seal.
2018 sees PMR continue its relationship with Vauxhall in the BTCC, with the two PMR Astras competing in the Championship’s 60th anniversary season, aiming to contend for the title.
