Centenary Celebrations for Power Maxed Racing as They Head to Oulton Park
Power Maxed Racing heads to Oulton Park this weekend for Rounds 10, 11 & 12 of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, with the event marking a significant milestone for both Mikey Doble and Dexter Patterson as they each reach 100 British Touring Car Championship starts.
For Doble, the occasion is made even more special as all 100 of his BTCC appearances have come with Power Maxed Racing since making his debut in the series. The milestone underlines a long-standing relationship with the team and coincides with another strong season of front-running performance in 2026.
Patterson also reaches the landmark this weekend, celebrating his 100th BTCC start during his first season with Power Maxed Racing, marking another significant moment in his touring car career.
As the 2026 season continues to build towards its midpoint, both the LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing and Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing remain firmly in contention across multiple championship battles, with the focus now turning to one of the most demanding venues on the calendar.
The LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing entry arrives in Cheshire sitting fourth in the overall Teams’ Championship and continuing to lead the Independent Teams’ Championship following a strong opening phase of the season.
Mikey Doble heads into the weekend eighth in the Drivers’ Championship and second in the Independents Trophy standings, combining consistent points-scoring form with a season that now includes a significant career milestone at Oulton Park.
Team-mate Aiden Moffat currently sits 13th in the Drivers’ Championship and fifth in the Independents Trophy standings, with both drivers aiming to convert strong pace into another solid weekend of championship points.
On the other side of the garage, Dexter Patterson continues his 2026 campaign with the Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing entry, sitting 15th in the Drivers’ Championship and second in the Jack Sears Trophy standings heading into the milestone Oulton Park weekend.
The Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing programme arrives in Cheshire ninth in the Teams’ Championship and fifth in the Independent Teams’ Championship, with the focus on continuing to build momentum through the remainder of the season.
Oulton Park remains one of the most demanding circuits on the BTCC calendar, with its narrow layout, undulating corners and limited overtaking opportunities placing a premium on qualifying performance and race execution across all three races.
With three races and a Qualifying Race scheduled across the weekend, valuable championship points are available at every stage, with Power Maxed Racing targeting a strong return to form and another productive weekend across both programmes.
The team will continue to provide updates throughout the weekend across its social media channels, including behind the scenes coverage, session updates, race results and partner activations from the circuit.
