Evans Halshaw named title sponsors of Power Maxed Racing for 2024 BTCC

Power Maxed Racing can today (22 March) announce Evans Halshaw as its new title sponsor; officially changing its name to Evans Halshaw Power Maxed Racing for the forthcoming 2024 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. 

Switching things up ahead of the new campaign, Evans Halshaw becomes the lead sponsor for the team after two years of racing under the same companies CarStore brand.

Renowned as one of the UK's leading retailers for cars and vans, Evans Halshaw branding will feature prominently across the livery of the teams Vauxhall Astras, as well as race suits and team clothing. 

Power Maxed Racing enter the new season with drivers Árón Taylor-Smith and Mikey Doble looking to build on what was a successful 2023 season in the UK’s premier motorsport series. 

Playing their part to claim runners-up laurels in the Independent Teams’ Championship, Taylor-Smith and Doble finished second and fifth in the Independent Drivers’ standings respectively while the Bidford-on-Avon squad also clinched the Jack Sears Trophy for a third time.

The 2024 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship season commences at Donington Park on the 27-28 April.
