Power Maxed Racing Arrives at Croft After Remarkable Rebuild
Power Maxed Racing has confirmed that all three of its Audi S3 BTCC cars have arrived at Croft for the British Touring Car Championship’s official pre-season test.
Following the devastating fire that destroyed the team’s workshop, cars and equipment last August, the team has undertaken a full rebuild of its entire operation. This has included securing and relocating to new premises, re-establishing its infrastructure, and constructing three brand new cars from the ground up ahead of the 2026 season.
The incredible team has completed the build of no fewer than three Audi S3 BTCC cars in an exceptionally short period of time, a significant achievement given the scale of what was lost.
At a time when some teams have benefitted from a full off-season of preparation, Power Maxed Racing has not only rebuilt from the ground up but returned with an expanded three-car entry, underlining the scale, speed, and efficiency of the rebuild.
In a remarkable turnaround, all three cars have been completed in time to take part in the Croft test, marking a major milestone in the team’s return to the grid. The test will also represent the first opportunity for the team to run all three cars together on track as preparations intensify ahead of the new season.
Each car will run its base livery for the test, ensuring that they take to the track looking the part while also delivering early exposure for the team’s partners, whose continued support throughout the rebuild has been instrumental.
This achievement is a testament to the commitment, resilience, and determination of the entire Power Maxed Racing team, as well as the support of its partners, who have played a key role in enabling the team’s return to competition.
Team Principal Adam Weaver said:
“My colleagues here at Power Maxed Racing are nothing short of exceptional. Their commitment and team spirit are second to none, and without every single one of them, this simply wouldn’t have been possible.
It’s been an incredibly tough period, with 12-hour-plus days and relentless effort, but they’ve made it as enjoyable as that can be.
I’ve never felt more motivated to raise the budgets and secure the right drivers to ensure that the hard work being put in behind the scenes is rewarded where it matters, out on track!
Winning championships is nothing less than what this team deserves.”
