Power Maxed Racing Completes Opening Day of BTCC Croft Test with All Three Cars Running

Power Maxed Racing successfully completed the opening day of the British Touring Car Championship's official pre-season test at Croft, marking the first day of running for its three newly built Audi S3 BTCC cars.

Following an extraordinary rebuild programme over the winter, the team achieved a major milestone by running all three cars on track during Day 1, completing initial installation laps and system checks as preparations continue ahead of the 2026 season.

After a demanding period to finalise the cars in time for the test, the focus throughout the day was on ensuring all three entries ran reliably and gathered valuable early data.

Despite limited running, early feedback from the drivers has been extremely encouraging.

Mikey Doble said:

"You can tell already it's going to be a great car"

Aiden Moffat added:

"If this is how it feels after its first five laps, we are going to have a great season."

With all three cars now successfully completing their first running, the team looks ahead to Day 2 of the test, where the focus will shift towards more detailed setup work and performance running.
