Power Maxed Racing Continue TCR UK Championship Challenge at Donington Park

Power Maxed Racing continued its challenge in the TCR UK Championship at Donington Park's GP Circuit, with a podium finish for Jenson and a reverse-grid pole position for Rod as the championship heads towards its final two meetings of the season.

The 5th and 6th of September saw the TCR UK Championship visit the challenging Donington Park GP Circuit, with Power Maxed Racing once again competing at the sharp end of the field.

Jenson enjoyed a strong opening race, crossing the line in P3 before being promoted to P2 following a post-race disqualification. The result secured another impressive podium finish for the Power Maxed Racing driver and valuable points towards the championship standings.

Rod endured a more challenging Race One after being spun during a race. Despite the incident, he continued to the finish, crossing the line in P10 and, crucially, securing reverse-grid pole position for Race Two.

Starting from the front of the grid, Rod made an excellent getaway and successfully defended his lead during the opening stages. However, while fighting to maintain the position, he ran wide and dropped back into the pack. Rod recovered strongly to bring the car home in P8, adding further points to his weekend tally.

Jenson began Race Two from P7 and produced an impressive drive through the field, making his way up to P5 as he continued his progress. Unfortunately, contact in the middle of the pack brought his race to an early end, resulting in a DNF.

With the Donington Park weekend complete, Power Maxed Racing remains firmly in championship contention, sitting second in the TCR UK Teams' Championship.

The championship now moves towards its final two meetings of the 2026 season, with the penultimate round taking place at Oulton Park's Island Circuit on 3rd October, before the season concludes at Brands Hatch.

Power Maxed Racing will be looking to build on its Donington Park performance and finish the season strongly as the battle for championship honours reaches its conclusion.
