Power Maxed Racing Head to Croft with Championship Battles Intensifying

Three races. Three championship battles. One target as Power Maxed Racing heads to Croft for Rounds 22, 23 & 24 of the 2026 British Touring Car Championship.  

Power Maxed Racing heads to Croft this weekend on the back of a strong weekend at Donington Park, with two more Independent Trophies, the first podium of the season for Aiden Moffat and another Jack Sears Trophy for Dexter Patterson. 

Mikey Doble arrives at the North Yorkshire circuit leading the Independent Drivers’ Championship by 30 points, putting the LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing driver in a strong position with just a handful of rounds remaining.  

The team is also leading the Independent Teams’ Championship, with LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing holding a 21-point advantage heading into the weekend. 

Meanwhile, Dexter Patterson arrives at Croft leading the Jack Sears Trophy, adding further significance to what promises to be a crucial weekend for the team. 

With Aiden Moffat, Mikey Doble, Dexter Patterson and Nick Halstead all representing Power Maxed Racing, the team will once again field four Audi S3s as it looks to maximise its points haul across all three races. 

Croft presents a unique challenge on the BTCC calendar, with its combination of high-speed corners, technical sections and limited overtaking opportunities placing added importance on qualifying, race strategy and consistency throughout the weekend. 

With championship positions now becoming increasingly important, every point could prove crucial.

“We’re heading into Croft with some really important championship battles to fight for, and there’s no doubt the pressure is building as we get towards the final stages of the season. 

Mikey has done a fantastic job to establish a 30-point lead in the Independent Drivers’ Championship, while we’re also leading the Independent Teams’ Championship with LKQ Euro Car Parts. Dexter is fighting to retain his Jack Sears Trophy lead too, so there is a huge amount at stake for the team this weekend. 

We’ve got four Audi S3s on the grid and a fantastic group of people behind them. We’re looking forward to getting to Croft and putting everything we’ve got into the weekend.” 

With three races awaiting the team, Power Maxed Racing will be aiming to maintain its momentum across all four cars and strengthen its position in the championship battles as the 2026 BTCC season enters its decisive stages.
