Power Maxed Racing Ready for Landmark Knockhill Weekend

Power Maxed Racing heads to Knockhill this weekend for one of the most significant events in the team’s history, as the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship returns to Scotland for Rounds 16, 17 & 18 of the 2026 season. 

The Scottish circuit will provide the backdrop for a landmark moment in the Power Maxed Racing story, with Sunday’s race day marking exactly one year since the devastating fire that destroyed the team’s workshop and threatened its future. 

Twelve months on, the return to Knockhill represents not what was lost, but what has been achieved. Through the commitment of its people, partners and supporters, Power Maxed Racing has rebuilt, regrouped and continued to move forward, reaching milestones that once seemed impossible. 

In the space of a year, the team has rebuilt its operation, expanded its commercial partnerships, launched the PM Junior Championship and will this weekend field four Audi S3s on the BTCC grid for the first time in its history. 

The landmark weekend also marks the return of Nick Halstead to the Power Maxed Racing line-up. Joining Aiden Moffat, Dexter Patterson and Mikey Doble, Halstead completes the team’s four-car entry as the squad reaches another significant chapter in its BTCC journey. 

For Moffat and Patterson, Knockhill carries an extra level of importance. As two of only four Scottish drivers competing in the BTCC, both drivers will race in front of their home crowd at Scotland’s only championship event, with family, friends and supporters lining the grandstands. 

Known for its challenging layout, dramatic elevation changes and passionate atmosphere, Knockhill consistently delivers some of the most exciting racing on the BTCC calendar. This year, the Scottish round promises to be one of the most memorable weekends of the season for Power Maxed Racing.
