Power Maxed Racing Returns to Donington Park for Second BTCC Visit of 2026
Power Maxed Racing returns to Donington Park this weekend for Rounds 19, 20 & 21 of the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, with four Audi S3s set to take on the GP Circuit.
Just weeks after a challenging but rewarding weekend at Knockhill, the team heads to familiar territory for its second visit to Donington Park this season. However, unlike the opening rounds in April, this weekend will see the BTCC grid tackle the full GP Circuit, providing a fresh challenge as the championship enters its crucial latter stages.
Leading the charge for LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing will be Aiden Moffat and Mikey Doble, while Dexter Patterson and Nick Halstead will once again fly the flag for Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing.
Halstead made his return to the BTCC grid at Knockhill, joining the established trio of Moffat, Doble and Patterson to give Power Maxed Racing a four-car line-up for the first time this season. After making his, return in Scotland, he will be looking to build on his opening weekend with the team as he continues his return to BTCC competition.
The switch from the National Circuit to the GP Circuit will provide a very different test for both drivers and engineers.
Stretching to almost four kilometres, the GP layout features some of Donington Park’s most recognisable sections, including the high-speed Craner Curves, Old Hairpin and the technical Melbourne Hairpin.
With a longer lap and a different balance of high-speed and technical sections, finding the right set-up will be crucial as the team looks to maximise the performance of its Audi S3s across the weekend.
Mikey Doble heads to Donington sixth in the Drivers’ Championship following another strong weekend at Knockhill, where he secured an Independent victory and strengthened his position at the top of the Independents’ Trophy.
The LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing driver will be looking to continue that momentum at Donington as he targets further progress in both the overall Drivers’ Championship and Independents’ Trophy.
Dexter Patterson arrives leading the Jack Sears Trophy after reclaiming the championship lead at Knockhill. The Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing driver will be looking to extend that advantage with another strong performance across the three races.
Aiden Moffat showed impressive pace at Knockhill, topping Free Practice before a difficult qualifying session and race day. The Scottish driver will be determined to turn that pace into points at Donington and convert that pace into points for LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing.
Meanwhile, Halstead will be looking to continue his progress with Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing and make the most of his second weekend back on the BTCC grid.
With championship positions becoming increasingly important, every point will count as the season moves towards its final rounds.
Saturday will see the four Audi S3s take to the GP Circuit for Free Practice and Qualifying, before Sunday’s three BTCC races provide the opportunity to fight for further championship points and Independent honours.
With plenty still to play for across the Drivers’, Independents’ and Jack Sears Trophy standings, Power Maxed Racing heads to Donington Park ready for another crucial weekend of BTCC action.
Four Audis. Four drivers. LKQ Euro Car Parts. Steel Seal. One team. Let’s go racing.
