Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing Enjoy Productive Season Launch at Brands Hatch

Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing completed a successful outing at the British Touring Car Championship Season Launch at Brands Hatch, as Dexter Patterson continued preparations ahead of the 2026 season.

Patterson made the most of valuable track time across the day, completing a total of 47 laps as the team worked through a structured programme focused on both car development and driver familiarisation. The running provided important mileage and allowed the team to gather key data as it continues to refine its package ahead of the opening round.

The pace shown across the sessions were particularly encouraging, with Patterson finishing second in Free Practice Session One before securing fourth place in the second session, underlining strong early performance from both driver and car.

Progress throughout the day proved positive, with Patterson continuing to build confidence and consistency as preparations for the new season gather momentum.

The event also delivered a memorable moment, as Patterson found himself face-to-face with an unexpected visitor in the form of a gorilla during the busy fan activities, adding a light-hearted highlight to an otherwise focused day.

The team would like to thank its partners, sponsors, and fans for their continued support.

With a productive launch event complete, Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing now looks ahead to the opening round of the championship at Donington Park.
