PWR Ford Ranger PX 3.2L 2012 Intercooler kit suits both early PX and late model PX2 facelift models from 2012 onwards.
Incorporating some of the most advanced automotive cooling technology, the PWR engineering team have recently designed an intercooler suited to both the Ford Ranger and Mazda BT50. As a result of superior tube and fin design characteristics, the PWR 670 x 250 x 68mm core offers over twice the core thickness of the OEM Intercooler, giving you reduced air intake temps of up to 50%.
On a 27 degree day, we were able to get intake temperatures to peak at just 7 degrees above ambient compared to the OEM intercooler which peaked at 37 degrees above ambient.
Fully engineered and manufactured in Australia, incorporating CNC machined billet aluminium outlets with unique ribbed design helps eliminate hose blow-off issues experienced with other kits. High quality constant tension Murray Clamps are also included.
The PWR unit is a direct fit replacement accepting the original boost pressure sensor, with only slight trimming of the removable plastic air ducts being the only modification required. The kit comes with all hoses & hard pipes necessary.
Due to the hugely increased performance provided by PWR intercoolers, we highly recommend a DNA Octane Motorsport Performance Remap to suit. When PWR products are fitted by PMR, we offer a 25% discount on DNA Octane Motorsports Remaps.
