Plato MotorfestOrganisers at Power Maxed MotoFest Coventry have been left overwhelmed after smashing all previous attendance records with 229,292 visitors recorded at this year’s festival. In an incredible gauge of the event’s rising popularity, Power Maxed MotoFest Coventry recorded its first ever six figure attendance on the first day, as around 140,000 visitors enjoyed the sights and sounds of the UK’s largest urban motoring festival.

PlatoThe most successful driver in British Touring Car Racing history, Jason Plato, will take to the streets of Coventry this Saturday at the famous Power Maxed Coventry Motofest.

The 51-year-old legend will pilot his Sterling Insurance with Power Maxed Racing Vauxhall Astra, built locally by Warwickshire-based PMR, around the closed street course during two sessions on Saturday.

JoyceWhilst eyes were focussed on the third round of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship at Thruxton last weekend, the prestigious and no-less-exciting Volkswagen Racing Cup (VW Cup) ventured to Snetterton, for the second round of the championship.The Norfolk track played host to the British GT Championship, of which the VW Cup is the main support fixture. The highly competitive series would utilise the infamous ‘300’ track configuration, known for its high speeds and for creating crowd-frenzying racing.


Power Maxed Racing have today announced their not just continued, but increased, partnership with sales and customer analysis software provider, sales-i. The UK based company, headed up by successful entrepreneur and life-long BTCC fan Paul Black, have increased their presence on both the Warwickshire based team’s Vauxhall Astras, and are now a prominent team sponsor.

CollardSterling Insurance with Power Maxed Racing headed to Thruxton for Rounds 7, 8 and 9 of the Kwik Fit MSA British Touring Car Championship. The Hampshire circuit throws up a unique series of challenges for engineers and drivers, with the Saturday Free Practice sessions always important.
