Russell Joyce Joins TCR UK with PMR
Russell Joyce Joins TCR UK with PMR.
Over the past 6 years I have been developing my race craft with Power Maxed Racing. Working with one of the UK’s leading race teams has shown great benefits and delivered plenty of silverware to date which I hope will continue! It’s incredibly exciting to be competing this season in top-flight motorsport TCR UK. This next chapter may well prove to be my most challenging season to date. Whilst the cars are equally matched with TCR balance of performance, selecting and refining the correct set-up from the thousands available will be paramount. I’ve been testing the TCR Cupra and every outing is showing improvements!
The race team and driver are just a part of what goes in to getting the car on the grid. We have been working with SkullClub.co.uk who are a motorsport marketing and networking agency. Together we have delivered a motorsport marketing programme for our team partners. It is their support, both financially and technically which helps us get on the podium. When we started, potential team partners (sponsors) believed it was just a sticker on the car. The modern motorsport marketing package has changed somewhat now being able to deliver marketing campaigns, brand awareness, hospitality and corporate events. It really comes down to return on investment!!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our team partners for 2022

Martin Broadhurst, Team Manager – “Everyone at PMR are very excited for Russell to continue to race with us and we have no doubt he will continue to collect silverware this year in the TCR UK Championship. Russell certainly has the pedigree necessary to challenge the other’s on the TCR grid and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do at the opening round held at Oulton next month.”
